Who is responsible

Lanzarote a Caballo by Yeguada Malvasía, the horse-riding business in Lanzarote you are booking with. Registered as Yeguada Malvasía S.L. (B93938868).

What we collect, and why

When you send a ride request we collect only what we need to answer it: your name, email and, if you give it, your phone number, where you are staying and any notes you add. We use it to check availability and reply to you. Nothing is charged on the website.

The legal basis is your consent and the steps taken at your request before a booking.

Health details and riders under 18 (signed waiver)

If you sign the ride waiver, we also collect what it asks for: each rider’s name and age, any medical notes you choose to share, an emergency contact, and whether you allow us to use photos or video. Medical notes are health data, so we only process them with your explicit consent and use them solely to keep you safe on the ride.

For riders under 18, a parent or guardian gives consent and signs on their behalf, and we collect the guardian’s name and relationship. Giving photo or video permission is optional and you can refuse without affecting your booking. We keep the signed waiver only for as long as the ride and any legal record-keeping require, and then delete it.

Who sees it

Only us, and the companies that host our website and email so the message reaches us. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to deal with your request and, if you ride with us, for as long as the law requires us to keep booking records. After that we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the details we hold, correct them, or delete them, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of that, reply to the email we send you when you make a request. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click through.
